Seven people were killed and 23 others injured when an overcrowded vehicle carrying a marriage party, rolled down a 40-foot gorge in Himachal Pradesh today.

Seven people were killed and 23 others injured when an overcrowded vehicle carrying a marriage party, rolled down a 40-foot gorge in Himachal Pradesh Tuesday.
Police said the vehicle skidded off the road at around 1230 hrs at Khalota village near Namohal, some 35 km from district town of Bilaspur.
"Thirteen of the injured have been referred to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh," Superintendent of Police Santosh Patyal told UNI.
He said the victims were going to a nearby village to attend a marriage ceremony.
