MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal strongly criticised Pakistan over the situation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), alleging that the Pakistani establishment has used "ruthless force" against peaceful civilian protesters. Jaiswal claimed that the crackdown has resulted in the deaths of more than 40 people, with many others seriously injured.
