Sidhu said voters were agitated from the SAD-BJP misrule in the state, especially from levying property tax, non-implementation of need-based policy, paid parking, unemployment, etc. "The public is fed up of the SAD-BJP government, who have failed to implement even their single commitment mentioned in their election manifesto in the previous LS polls. They are looting the state. They are running a sand mafia and their drug-peddling is spoiling the youth of the state."

He added that voters were waiting for April 30 to give them a befitting reply for their bad governance in the state. Sidhu further said that due to the government's misrule, the state was facing a financial crunch, and the government had even failed to pay salaries, pension and other benefits to their employees in time.
