In Phase 7, the public parks have been neglected to the extent that benches have been hidden by dense overgrowth of bushes. And corrugated cardboard boxes have been dumped in a corner of the park.

While factories have maintained the green lawns within their premises, the areas outside have been neglected.

In Phase 8, a few vacant plots have come to serve as dumping yards. The roadside stalls also do not have dustbins, and garbage and food packets have been dumped on the roads.

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan does not seem to have brought any improvement to the Industrial Area.
