The delegation emphasised that they were focusing on three states—Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan--to cooperate in the fields of renewable energy, solid waste management and creation of e-knowledge among the youth of the region, a spokesman said on Thursday.

They apprised the deputy chief minister of their interest in a tie-up with the Punjab government for skill development to enable youth to get employment in modern industrial units.

The deputy chief minister assured the Baroness of the state’s cooperation and informed the delegation about the government’s initiative to create a congenial atmosphere for entrepreneurs to get easy clearances for investments, the spokesman said.
