The city, which saw cloudy skies and spells of light rain last week, is likely to witness dry weather this week due to the absence of any active western disturbance, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated on Sunday. Although recent snowfall in the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh will bring cooler conditions at the start of the week, day temperatures are expected to rise by 1°C to 2°C toward the weekend, even as nights remain chilly.
