Chandigarh: Factory management booked after worker dies

Police have booked the Bhushan Factory management for negligence after worker Bal Mukund Ojha died from injuries caused by a falling iron hook.

Following the death of a worker at the Bhushan Factory in the Industrial Area, police have booked the management on charges of negligence.

A case under Section 106(1) of the BNS was registered at Industrial Area, Chandigarh, police station following the complaint of the victim’s daughter.

The victim, identified as Bal Mukund Ojha, 40, a resident of Hallomajra, was working at the factory when a heavy iron hook fell on him. He sustained severe injuries and was admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
