The Haryana government will disburse subsidies, pensions and financial assistance under various welfare schemes into beneficiaries’ bank accounts on the 10th of every month through direct benefit transfer (DBT), chief secretary (CS) Anurag Rastogi said on Friday.
Concerned departments have been instructed to ensure timely submission of required data and completion of necessary formalities so that the transfer of funds can take place without delays. (HT Photo)
The move aims to ensure timely and transparent delivery of welfare benefits. The CS said that to facilitate the process, the government will also organise a formal function on the 10th of every month at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh, where the competent authority will release the funds.
Concerned departments have been instructed to ensure timely submission of required data and completion of necessary formalities so that the transfer of funds can take place without delays. The government has also asked all implementing agencies and officials to bring these instructions to the notice of concerned officers for strict compliance.
