Ludhiana: Pre-anesthesia clinic inaugurated at DMCH

Principal Sandeep Puri said the clinic will help decrease hospital stay of the patients during surgery. and will serve to provide comprehensive evaluation of patients by experienced anaesthesiologists.

Professor and head of department of anaesthesia Anju Garewal said that PAC plays a vital role in evaluating and optimizing medical and surgical co-morbidities prior to surgery, especially in an era of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). This evaluation includes detailed medical checkup, physical examination, necessary pre-operative investigations and rehabilitation measures.
