Punjab logs 42 fresh Covid cases, 1 death

Of the fresh Covid cases in Punjab, Mohali reported nine followed by five in Hoshiarpur, four in Ludhiana and three each in Jalandhar and Pathankot

Chandigarh: Punjab on Sunday reported 42 fresh Covid cases, taking the infection tally to 7,58,453, according to a medical bulletin.

With 75 patients recovering from the infection, the number of cured persons in Punjab has reached 7,40,350.

With one Covid-related fatality, the death toll in the state reached 17,720. The number of active cases in the state was 383, the bulletin said.

Of the fresh cases, Mohali reported nine followed by five in Hoshiarpur, four in Ludhiana and three each in Jalandhar and Pathankot.
