Two killed in road mishap in Himachal’s Bir-Billing

There were a total of four occupants in the car when the mishap occurred and all were residents of Himachal

Two people were killed and two others injured after the car they were travelling in veered off the road in Bir-Billing of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.

Police have registered a case and begun investigating the cause of the accident. (File)

The incident occurred late Monday night near the paragliding take-off site. There were a total of four occupants in the car when the mishap occurred. All the four are from Himachal Pradesh. Following the accident, locals immediately informed the police, who then arrived at the scene, pulled the injured out of the ravine, and sent them to the hospital. Preliminary information suggests that the vehicle lost control. Police have registered a case and begun investigating the cause of the accident.
