Anjali's sister told news agency ANI that the family got the information of the theft from neighbors at 7:30 am and the TV which was bought two months back was stolen from their house in Karan Vihar. "When we came here, we found the lock to be broken. The LCD TV and other household items, stacked under the bed, were missing. The television is new. It has been two months since we purchased it."
Alleging Nidhi's role and the Delhi Police's laxity, another family member was quoted as saying, "Why was there no police yesterday in front of the house? Police had been there for the last 8 days but yesterday no one was there. We feel Nidhi is behind the theft."
