Tight 5-tier security for PM’s Noida Airport inauguration

Traffic movement has been streamlined through real-time monitoring, and 15 parking facilities around the airport for nearly 20,000 vehicles have been arranged.

Noida: Noida police has deployed multi-layered security for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Noida International Airport inauguration scheduled for Saturday, officials said.

Police said social media tracking is also being carried out to detect any suspicious activity or misinformation.

“A five-tier security system, in coordination with the Special Protection Group (SPG), has been established for Prime Minister’s visit in Jewar,” Noida police said in a statement on Friday.

It added, “Nearly 5,000 personnel from the Uttar Pradesh Police, along with forces such as the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Rapid Action Force (RAF), Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), have been deployed to strengthen security. The area has been declared a no-fly zone.”

Police said social media tracking is also being carried out to detect any suspicious activity or misinformation.
