Woman, two others, held for luring, robbing man in Mehrauli
Three people, including a woman, were arrested in south Delhi for robbing a man at knife-point after luring him near a park.
New Delhi: Three people, including a woman, have been arrested for luring and robbing a man in south Delhi’s Mehrauli, a police officer said on Friday.

Deputy commissioner of police (south) Anant Mittal said on Monday, a head constable and a constable were on routine patrol duty on the Badarpur-Mehrauli Road, when they met victim, near the main gate of a public park, who told them that a woman lured him by signaling him near the park’s wall, where two men robbed him of his belongings at knife-point.
“One of the suspects, a 29-year-old man, was chased and caught by the patrolling team. The knife used in the crime and ₹750 robbed from the victim were recovered from his possession,” the DCP said.
The accused’s interrogation led to the identification of his two accomplices – a 22-year-old man and a woman of same age – and were arrested from the Lado Sarai area,” the DCP said, adding that the 29-year-old is previously involved in at least six criminal cases, including robbery and theft.
