Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday reported 128 fresh Covid cases from 81,300 samples tested in the past 24 hours, according to the data from the state health department. Prayagraj reported one death. “The state has tested a total of 11,51,11,824 Covid samples till now,” said Amit Mohan Prasad, additional chief secretary, medical health, in a press statement.

“In the past 24 hours, 184 patients have recovered and till now 20,56,356 patients have recovered. The recovery rate in the state is over 98%,” he said. The state, at present, has 910 active Covid cases and a majority of them are in home isolation.

On Monday, 5,29,125 doses of Covid vaccine were administered. Uttar Pradesh has administered 15,32,68,826 first dose and 13,74,49,016 second dose to the people above 18 years.

In the age group of 15-17 year, 1,37,44,575 first dose and 1,11,38,062 second dose have been administered. In the age group of 12-14 year, 75,81,570 first dose and 33,90,894 second dose have been administered. Uttar Pradesh had administered 32,15,772 precautionary doses till Monday, he said.
