Kalyanpur police detained three minor boys for several hours and later released them on personal bonds after they allegedly barged into a government school campus, misbehaved with girl students and hurled lewd comments in a village under East Champaran on Saturday, officials said.

According to the police, the incident took place during school hours on the premises of Rajkiya Madhya Vidyalaya at Bakarpur village when the accused entered the premises without permission and allegedly misbehaved with girl students.
“Following a complaint against three boys for harassing girls at the government middle school, Bakarpur, the Abhaya Brigade team detained three law-violating minors and brought them to Kalyanpur police station, where a bond of ₹1 lakh each was executed,” said Vinit Kumar, station house officer (SHO), Kalyanpur.
Sources quoting eye witnesses said the school authorities immediately intervened and informed the police after the three students trespassed into the school and began misbehaving.
Police said an inquiry was underway to ascertain further details of the incident and ensure that such acts were not repeated.
