‘NTPC Singrauli a symbol of credibility for last 40 yrs’

Debashish Sen, regional executive director (north), NTPC limited visited NTPC Singrauli on Monday. He closely inspected the operating system of the power plant and gave various instructions for uninterrupted power generation with high quality maintenance.
At the station review meeting, Sen said that it was a matter of pride that NTPC Singrauli project was illuminating the country by generating uninterrupted power for the last 40 years and it was also one of the best projects in the country. NTPC has become a symbol of credibility in this country and is developing in a phased manner as per the requirements of the Government of India, he said.
He said that NTPC was also a mirror of social development, as innumerable people are directly and indirectly benefiting from NTPC.
During the plant visit, Sen gave necessary instructions after inspecting various units and important works of the plant including CW Duct Area Stage-1 CWPH Side, FGD Stage-2 Site, Stage-3 Proposed Area, CW Duct Area Stage-1 Switchyard Side.
Important issues were discussed by Sen with honorary representatives of the unions and associations. Sen also planted a tree on the campus.
On the occasion, Karbi Sen of Uttara Mahila Mandal (Lucknow) and Jayita Goswami, president, Vanita Samaj, NTPC Singrauli inaugurated sewing training programme and distributed tricycles to the differently-abled.
