Punjab logs 43 fresh Covid cases, no death
With no Covid-related fatality, the death toll in Punjab stood at 17,723. The state’s positivity rate has also come down to 0.22%

Chandigarh : Punjab on Friday reported 43 fresh Covid cases taking the infection count to 7,58,643, according to a medical bulletin.
With no Covid-related fatality, the death toll in the state stood at 17,723. The state’s positivity rate has also come down to 0.22%, the bulletin said. Active cases in the state have also come down to 274.
Among districts, Pathankot topped the list with 12 cases, followed by seven each in Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana.
With 72 persons recovering from the infection, the number of cured persons in the state has reached 7,40,646.
A total of 40,073 people were vaccinated on Friday, the bulletin said.
