First merit list for Class 11 admission will be released on May 29
Students allotted seats must visit the assigned junior college in person between May 29 and to June 3 to confirm admission, cancel admission, or reject the allotted seat.
Pune: The first merit list for Class 11 admissions under Maharashtra’s centralised online admission process will be released on Friday, the School Education Department announced on Thursday.
The merit list and cut-off list for the first admission round will be declared on Friday, following which selected students will receive SMS alerts regarding their allotment. Students allotted seats must visit the assigned junior college in person between May 29 and to June 3 to confirm admission, cancel admission, or reject the allotted seat.
The schedule for the second admission round will be announced on June 5, while details of vacant seats will be published on June 6.
A total of 12,51,294 students from across the state registered for the first regular admission round till the extended deadline that ended on Tuesday morning. Of these, 6,18,369 are boys and 6,16,345 are girls.
The department had earlier extended the deadline for filling Part-II of the admission form till Monday due to technical issues on the admission portal. According to officials, 1,58,849 students have completed payment of fees, while 11,11,809 students confirmed Part-I of their application forms during the registration process.
