Four classmates attack Class 10 student outside school campus

According to the Pune police, the crime was a fallout of an argument the victim had with one of the four accused

The police have detained four minors for physically assaulting their 15-year-old classmate with knife, iron chain and leather belt outside their municipal school premises near Ramoshigate at Bhavani Peth at around 3.30pm on Tuesday.

Over a past argument between the injured and the accused, the latter came to the school with weapons hidden in bags and followed the victim after the classes ended. They assaulted him on head, neck and chest outside the school premises, says police. (REPRESENTATIVE PHOTO)

The victim, a resident of Bibvewadi, was rushed to Sassoon General Hospital for treatment.

According to the police, the crime was a fallout of an argument the victim had with one of the four accused.

Ravindra Gaikwad, senior inspector, Khadak Police Station, said, “The five boys are classmates and know each other. Over a past argument between the injured and the accused, the latter came to the school with weapons hidden in bags and followed the victim after the classes ended. They assaulted him on head, neck and chest outside the school premises.”
