Chennai Super Kings are sweating over the fitness of their skipper MS Dhoni - his absence was felt in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and hence, the side would be wary about losing momentum at this crucial juncture of the tournament.

There is a cloud over his fitness, but if visuals from the training session is anything to go by, he will be assessed before the match before any final call is made.

“It is a very fine line between where you sit on the table in this competition. I have always said that no matter where the teams are on the table, each game has its own set of challenges. And when you are playing a team that has got Kohli, de Villiers, Stoinis, Steyn etc, Moeen Ali, you are always in for a tough fight. So playing Bangalore in Bangalore is one of the tough challenges in the IPL. We have always had good battles here,”coach Stephen Fleming said before the match.

RCB, on the other hand, have found momentum after their win against Kolkata Knight Riders and would want to get one back in their half after the humiliation they received in the first match.

There are other injury concerns too for Chennai Super Kings - Dwayne Bravo, who bowled with a gentler run in the practice session but both his hamstrings were heavily taped. So will he play is anyone’s guess!

Here is Chennai Super Kings predicted XI:

Predicted XI: Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, Sam Billings, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Imran Tahir
