India vs Australia, Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 Highlights: Meg Lanning was denied a century by just three runs but she led a clinical Australian chase against India in Auckland to ensure that their perfect record in the tournament remains intact. Australia chased down a target of 278, which is the highest succesfull run chase by a team in a Women's World cup, with Lanning scoring 97. Australia got off to a strong start to the chase with openers Alyssa Healy and Rachael Haynes putting up a partnership of 121 runs in under 20 overs. The two players were dismissed in quick succession but Lanning and Ellyse Perry then closed down any chance that the Indians saw from the wickets with a 103-run partnership for the third wicket. India managed to tighten things up in the end with Lanning's wicket and Australia needed eight to win off the last over. Mooney, however, knocked off the runs in the first three balls of the over itself.
