Akeal Hosein leads the attack for the hosts and there's a loud LBW appeal against Yashasvi in the first ball. The umpire is not interested.

Next delivery Akeal drops it short, allowing enough time to Yashasvi to change his stance and reverse sweep the ball for a boundary square of the wicket.

If we look at India's record, the Men In Blue have won their last 12 bilateral series. The last time India lost a bilateral series was against Sri Lanka back in 2021.

If we look at the West Indies team, Nicholas Pooran has been enjoying a good outing. He is the second highest run getter after Tilak Varma and India will look to stop him early.

Batting at a strike-rate of 144.94, Pooran has so far accumulated 129 runs.

If we look at our bowlers, Arshdeep Singh emerged as India's highest wicket-taker in the previous match. He scalped three and conceded 38 runs. Kuldeep Yadav also had a good outing, picking a couple of wickets in his full quota of overs.

Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mukesh Kumar picked a wicket each.

In the fourth T20I, the opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill created the record for the joint-highest opening partnership for India in T20Is. The duo added 165 runs for the opening wicket.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma had also stitched 165-run stand against Sri Lanka for the opening wicket at Indore in 2017.

Meanwhile, the highest partnership for India in T20Is was stitched by Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson. The pair had added 176 runs for the second wicket stand against Ireland last year.

Afghanistan cricketers Usman Ghani and Hazratullah Zazai hold the record for the highest-ever partnership in T20Is. The pair added 236 runs against Ireland in 2019, which is also the highest opening stand in T20Is.

If we just focus on the T20Is, Tilak Varma has also made a remarkable start to his international career. The batter scored 22-ball 39 in the first encounter, followed it up by slamming his maiden half-century in the next. Varma then scored an unbeaten 49 off 37 balls in the third match, which India won by seven wickets.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been India's shining star in the tour. He made an exceptional start in the Test series and after a quiet T20I debut, the southpaw scored a match-winning 84*(51) to help India level the series.

Winning the toss and opting to bat, West Indies piled a stiff 178/8 in 20 overs. Shimron Hetmyer scored 61 off 39 balls, which featured three boundaries and four maximums. 

India in response blew away the hosts with the opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill stitching a 165-run stand in 15.3 overs. Gill scored 77 off 47 balls, while Jaiswal returned unbeaten on 84 off 51 balls. India finished the 179 chase in 17 overs and won the match by nine wickets.

India have produced a tremendous comeback in the five-match T20I series. The team endured close defeats in the first two T20Is, losing the first encounter by four runs and the second by two wickets.

However, Hardik Pandya-led Indian unit showed great composure in the third and fourth encounters, winning both the contests convincingly, setting up a cracking series finale.
