Capsey was in good form in England's previous fixture vs Ireland. Batting at no. 3, Capsey slammed 51 runs off 22 balls, packed with 10 fours and a six. She is also her side's highest scorer, with 64 runs in two matches.

Richa Ghosh has been good form and has registered 75 runs in two matches. She is also her side's highest run-scorer. She also put in a good batting display against West Indies. After the match, captain Harmanpreet hailed Richa.

"Richa Ghosh has matured a lot. The conversation between her and Hrishikesh sir (batting coach) is about picking the right ball and scoring runs off it. The maturity to handle the pressure and take singles when needed has made her more dangerous. She has been great for us", the Indian skipper said.

Against West Indies in the previous fixture, Deepti became the first Indian bowler to claim 100 wickets in T20Is. She reached this milestone in her 89th game and overtook Poonam Yadav as India's leading wicket-taker in T20Is. 

After the West Indies match, Harmanpreet hailed the veteran and said, "Deepti Sharma is mentally very strong. The way she bounced back from her disappointing bowling performance against Pakistan is a testament to it. She has grown a lot in past few years and opened up to other teammates. Having her around has helped the juniors also."

Last summer, India beat England 3-0 in their ODI series, and sealed the victory with a Mankad when Deepti ran out Charlie at the non-striker's end as she backed up too far. Ahead of the game, England pacer Bell said, "England as a team have put that behind us and hopefully India have as well. I think that's very much put to bed now. We don't think about it as a team. So, you know, there's been no practicing of that. It doesn't get discussed. I think that's just something that happened in the summer and it's very much been left there. It's a fresh World Cup and that's the focus on Saturday."

Mandhana missed India's opener against Pakistan due to an injury. The opener returned to the XI in the next match against West Indies, which India won by six wickets. Mandhana will be aiming for a better display, and could only muster 10 runs off seven balls.
