Hemant Kumar

Every successful cricket team requires tireless workhorses who perform the demanding, unglamorous tasks without complaint, and Hemant Kumar embodies that exact ethos for Rajasthan. An honest seam bowler and gritty lower-order batter, Hemant learned his cricket through the fiercely competitive local leagues of Rajasthan.

His first major public platform arrived during the inaugural Rajasthan Premier League in 2023, where he turned out for the Bhilwara Bulls. In that franchise environment, Hemant proved his mettle against seasoned professional batters and bowling economical spells in high-pressure situations.

By late 2025, Hemant's persistent efforts translated into prominent opportunities in Rajasthan's primary senior lineups. He was trusted to bowl against elite domestic powerhouses during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League in December 2025, executing disciplined bowling spells against marquee batters in high-stakes encounters against teams like Mumbai. His composure against high-caliber opposition proved that he belonged in senior state dressing rooms, capable of executing match plans without flinching.

The early months of 2026 saw Hemant cement his standing in Rajasthan's red-ball plans, earning selection in the senior Ranji Trophy squad for key encounters. As Rajasthan prepared for the 2026-27 domestic season, Hemant continued to feature in premier local invitation tournaments and practice matches in Jaipur through the summer, keeping his bowling sharp and his fitness pristine.
