Kasey Barton

Kasey Barton is a right-arm fast bowler who has progressed through the New South Wales pathway after emerging from Wollongong and Mossman. He represented NSW Country at both Under-17 and Under-19 level and also featured for Australia at the 2025 Under-17 Championships. His performances at youth level, including against India U19, helped put him firmly on the national pathway.

Barton stepped into senior cricket with Wollongong in the 2024-25 season before moving to Sydney for the following summer. His development continued rapidly, earning him selection in Australia's squad for the 2026 Under-19 World Cup in Zimbabwe and Namibia. He was one of the younger members of the squad and gained valuable experience during Australia's run to the semi-finals.

His progress has since taken him into the Tasmanian setup, with Barton signing a rookie contract with the Tigers for the 2026-27 season after moving across from NSW. He was also retained in Australia's U19 plans, earning selection for the multi-format tour of India in 2026. The tour featured three Youth ODIs and two four-day matches against India U19.
