Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers were off to a brilliant start to the innings but in the third over, Virat ended up gifting his wicket when he was caught in the deep by Liam Livingstone. De Villiers followed suit on the very next ball as he also mistimed his shot and was caught by Riyan Parag. On a hat-trick, Gopal bowled a googly to Marcus Stoinis and the Australia all-rounder could only manage to find Steve Smith at mid-off with his shot.
