Toby Roland-Jones became just the sixth England cricketer to take five or more wickets in their debut bowling Test innings with a return of five for 57 against South Africa on Saturday. (DAY 3 HIGHLIGHTS)

The Middlesex seamer’s haul was instrumental in the Proteas being dismissed for 175 in reply to England’s first innings 353 -- a deficit of 178 runs -- on the third day of the third Test at The Oval.

Among the other five England bowlers to have also achieved the feat is fellow Middlesex seamer Richard Johnson, who coached Roland-Jones at the reigning county champions.

Johnson took six for 33 against Zimbabwe at Chester-le-Street in 2003.

James Anderson, a team-mate of Roland-Jones in this current match and England’s all-time leading wicket-taker at this level, took five for 73 at Lord’s during that same 2003 series against Zimbabwe.
