The India cricket team skipper Virat Kohli has been scoring tons of runs. He has been enjoying a good run of form and has the hunger in his belly to achieve more --- that too at a fast pace.

He has also expressed the desire to become as fast as Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt.

Bolt recently congratulated Kohli on Twitter for bagging a R 100 core deal with Puma.

“Great choice @imVkohli Time to go to the next level #ForeverFaster”

In response to Bolt’s tweet, Kohli tweeted, “I wish I could get as fast as you someday @usainbolt. Thanks legend. @PUMA #ForeverFaster”

If Kohli further improves his leg cadence, he could soon be setting a new benchmark in taking quick singles --- yet another milestone in the cricket world.

If Bolt has got an aura of invincibility on the track, Kohli is the first batsman to score four double tons in four series beginning with the West Indies tour last season.

The India skipper has scored 1168 Test runs in one season, a first by any batsman at home. The previous best of 1105 was by Virender Sehwag in the 2004-2005 season.

The Jamaican legend is the first sprinter to hold both 100m and 200m world records after fully automatic times were made mandatory from January 1, 1977.

Bolt recently won his fourth Laureus ‘World Sportsman of the Year Award’ at a function in Monaco.
