Zaheer Khan announces engagement to actress Sagarika Ghatge

Zaheer Khan, former India pacer and Delhi Daredevils captain, took to Twitter to announce his engagement with actress Sagarika Ghatge. Neither had earlier spoken in public about their relationship

Ex-India pacer and skipper of Delhi Daredevils, Zaheer Khan, is now engaged to actress Sagarika Ghatge, he announced through his Twitter account on Monday.

“Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them !!! Partners for life. #engaged @sagarikavghatge,” he tweeted.

Zaheer and Ghatge were reported to be dating for some time now, but neither had earlier spoken in public about their relationship.

The left-arm bowler is currently leading Daredevils in the IPL 2017 season.

Sagarika Ghatge has acted in a number of movies over the years, and came to prominence after playing the character of Preeti Sabarwal in the Bollywood hit ‘Chak De! India’.

Ghatge’s most recent movie was ‘Irada’, which was released in February.
