A silver Hyundai Creta car of the Naraina station house officer’s (SHO) son was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by an unidentified man in southwest Delhi’s Dwarka Sector-19 on Wednesday evening.

The incident took place around 6 pm on a road outside Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) Bharat Vandana Apartments where the SHO lives with his family, police said.

Deputy commissioner of police (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said the SHO’s 22-year-old son Sagar Chauhan was driving alone and had just come out of the society’s premises when the incident took place.

Chauhan told police that his car hit a concrete object as soon as he drove out of the society.

“Chauhan came out of the car and was checking the damage when an unidentified man arrived pointed a pistol at him and drove away the car. We registered a case of robbery. The suspect has been captured on CCTV. We are analysing the footage for further leads,” he said.
