2 held at airport for smuggling gold in papaya
NEW DELHI: The custom officials at the Delhi airport arrested two men on Monday for smuggling 2.5kg gold biscuits worth Rs 75.81 lakh inside a papaya.
NEW DELHI: The custom officials at the Delhi airport arrested two men on Monday for smuggling 2.5kg gold biscuits worth Rs 75.81 lakh inside a papaya.

Custom department on Monday said that two passengers, who had come from Bangkok, were intercepted by the officers after they had crossed the green channel. An officer said that the two were carrying a bag in which they had concealed a papaya.
Sanjay Mangal, Commissioner of Customer said the two passengers were arrested under the Customs Act and the gold has been seized.
