NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has directed Max Hospital here not to stop treatment of a 15-year-old boy who was allegedly thrashed and given electric shocks for relieving himself near Ghitorni Metro station.

Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva directed Max Hospital not to discharge the boy from the hospital or withdraw any medical treatment on account of non-payment of due or medical charges.

The court said the boy’ s medical treatment should be carried out as per the economically weaker section (EWS) category till the next date of hearing on November 10.
