NEW DELHI: Light rain on Tuesday added to the woes of commuters as traffic slowed down at several points in the city.

The brief spell of rain caused traffic snarls around MB Road near Vayusenabad, Zakira flyover (from Anand Parbat, and on the Ring Road from Safdarjung Hospital to Dhaula Kuan.
The snarl was particularly bad around the Moti Bagh intersection, towards Rao Tula Ram Marg.
The Safdarjung observatory recorded 0.2 mm of rain during the day while the reading at Palam observatory was 0.8 mm.
Humidity was between 85% and 69%. The maximum temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 28 degrees Celsius, both a degree above normal. Light rain and a partly cloudy sky are expected on Wednesday. The temperature is expected to stay in the range of 35 degrees and 28 degrees Celsius. Delhi has been experiencing heavy rains in the last few weeks, adding to traffic snarls and clogging drains.
