NEW DELHI: It was a sultry Saturday in the national capital with high humidity coupled with the mercury settling at two notches above normal adding to the discomfort of Delhiites.

“The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.9 degrees Celsius and minimum 27.6 degrees Celsius, both two notches above normal,” a MeT official said.
The humidity levels oscillated between 85% and 60%.
The weatherman has predicted a clear day tomorrow with possibility of light drizzle in few areas.
“Very light rains or drizzle may occur towards evening. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius,” he said.
On Friday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 34.4 degrees Celsius and 26.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
