188 POs held in Delhi this year

Around 190 proclaimed offenders have been arrested so far by Central Delhi police this year with April accounting for almost 50% of such cases. A total of 188 proclaimed offenders were apprehended by dedicated teams this year, while 91 of them were apprehended this month alone.

"This month's figure of 91 accounts for around 50% of the total number of proclaimed offenders arrested this year so far," a senior police official said.

A special drive was launched in Central District to catch the proclaimed offenders.
