NEW DELHI: The Delhi government on Friday terminated the services of two officials of a children’s home following complaints of child abuse.

Women and Child Welfare Minister Sandee p Kumar ordered registration of an FIR under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).

The two officials were working at the Lajpat Nagar Village Cottage Home for children.

The action was taken following complaints against the superintendent and the woman welfare officer. Girls living in the home had complained of misbehaviour against the officials.

Kumar visited the spot on Friday with officials and spoke to the children.
