The police have found more than 200 photographs of people readying to travel abroad in the possession of Rajendra Gampa, reports Vijaita Singh.
The police have found more than 200 photographs of people readying to travel abroad in the possession of Rajendra Gampa, who was arrested on Saturday by a Crime Branch team.

The police said the passport-sized photographs belonged to more than 50 people, mostly of Punjab, who were to be sent to the US, UK and other countries.
“We can say that they were the future victims,” said a senior police officer.
Gampa had got in touch with these passengers through his other associates. All the deals were fixed for Rs 20-30 lakh. Earlier, the police had also recovered 25 passports from his house in Lajpat Nagar.
According to the police, Gampa, who has done B.Com from Hyderabad, worked as a small-time contractor for some time and took to the illegal trade about a year ago.
He came in contact with Sunder Lal Yadav, another accused in the case, after coming to Delhi.
“Gampa’s job was to lure the passengers. Yadav, who shared a good rapport with the MP, facilitated the deal,” added the officer. The police suspect that more travel agents are involved in the racket.
