4 held for looting garments from truck

A gang of highway robbers, who had recently robbed goods worth lakhs and even made away with the vehicle carrying the said goods, was arrested in northeast Delhi, police said on Monday.

A gang of highway robbers, who had recently robbed goods worth lakhs and even made away with the vehicle carrying the said goods, was arrested in northeast Delhi, police said on Monday. The arrested four have been identified as Mohammad Asif, 21, Mohammad Arif, 20 and Mohammad Asif, 21, who had looted the truck and Mumtaz, 33, a beauty parlour owner who received the stolen goods. Police said the trio had allegedly looted garments worth Rs35 lakh from a truck after taking the driver hostage in Dhirpur.
