43-yr-old man arrested for drug peddling
A 43-year-old man was arrested here for alleged drug peddling and 350g of heroin with street value of Rs 35 lakh seized from his possession, the police said on Saturday.

A 43-year-old man was arrested here for alleged drug peddling and 350g of heroin with street value of Rs 35 lakh seized from his possession, the police said on Saturday.
Kishan Mohan Gupta was apprehended from Bhajanpur on Friday, Ashok Chand, deputy commissioner of police (crime), said.
He was at present residing at Karawal Nagar. Gupta's father is a liquor contractor in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
"He owns a small upholstery fabrication unit at Karawal Nagar. However he could not make ends meet and since he was already a drug user he got into the drug trafficking and started working for Rizwan.
"He was paid Rs 10,000 for delivery of each consignment. The present consignment was to be delivered to a woman in Ghaziabad," Chand said.
