9 MCD standing committee members to retire

Nine members of the high-powered Standing Committee of the MCD will retire soon and fresh selection will be conducted. HT reports.

Nine members of the high-powered Standing Committee of the MCD will retire soon and fresh selection will be conducted. Of the 18 members, RK Singhal, Suman K Gupta, Razia Sultana, Rajni Abbi, Vjay Pandit, Gulshan Bhatia, Avtar Singh, Rajesh Kaur and Jai Bhagwan Yadav are retiring. Accordingly, the matter will be placed before the MCD and the wards committee concerned for filling up the vacant posts.
