Delhi’s health department took action against 12 clinics under the PNDT Act in the past two months. Delhi health minister Ashok Kumar Walia said there were a few complaints against maternity clinics and ultrasound centres for conducting sex determination test. “Our teams took these complaints very seriously and carried out raids,” Walia said.
