After making prospective students wait a long time before declaring the final admission process, the university has come out with a process that has pleased most people. The application process for the new academic session will start from June 4 and will go on till June 18.

"It is a good idea to have both hard copies of the forms and online registration as people from far flung areas may not be able to access the Internet and apply or may not be able to come physically for admission to Delhi," said Ketaki Mathur, a DU aspirant.

"I am personally very happy about the online registration form. I will not have to run around in the heat this summer," she added.

The admission forms, however, will not be available in the university this year but at select post offices across the

national Capital."The process is not very different. Earlier also the forms were available in various centres. These will now be available at post offices," said JM Khurrana, dean, students' welfare, DU.

Colleges, meanwhile, will not be allowed to come out with their own forms.
