After accident, scared teenager commits suicide

Identified as Neeraj, his family members have alleged that he was threatened by one of his friends as he had caused some damage to his scooty on Tuesday, police said.

“Neeraj’s friend allegedly asked him to pay for the damage, failing which he will tell Neeraj’s parents about the incident,” a police official said.

“It seems that the boy committed suicide as he was scared about the consequences. A case of abetment to suicide has been registered,” he said.
