AI’s dreamliner comes true

Air India’s long wait for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner ended on Saturday. The next-generation aircraft landed at Delhi’s IGI airport to a water-cannon salute after over 15 hours of flying from the Boeing factory in South Carolina, US.

Cash-strapped Air India will get two more Dreamliners in the coming weeks. Each plane will have 256 seats and will be loaded with features, such as mood-lighting inside the cabin and large screens for in-flight entertainment.
