Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Sikkim to go to polls

Elections to the Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Sikkim assemblies will take place along with Lok Sabha elections, Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami announced today.

Elections to the Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Sikkim assemblies will take place along with Lok Sabha elections, Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami announced on Monday.

He told reporters that assembly by-elections would take place in the same period in Mizoram, Jharkhand and Karnataka (one seat each) and Nagaland (four seats).
