Armed, uniformed policeman robbed
The hunter was hunted in the wee hours of Tuesday. Constable Kishan Singh, on his way home from Punjabi Bagh police station where he is posted, was intercepted near Mundka village by five men in a Santro.
When he told them that he was a constable with Delhi Police, they started raining blows on him. They hit him with the butt of a country-made revolver, stole his money, mobile phone and his motorcycle. All this even as the constable was fully armed and in uniform.
“Although Kishan Singh was carrying his service revolver, he couldn’t take it out,” said a police officer.
After looting the policeman, the miscreants went to a roadside liquor shop and spent the whole night having beer. They were arrested on Wednesday evening.
