Babubhai Katara gets bail
The Delhi HC grants bail to Babubhai Katara, a suspended BJP MP who was arrested in April 2007 while allegedly trying to smuggle out a woman and a teenaged boy to Toronto.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday granted bail to Babubhai Katara, a suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP who was arrested in April 2007 while allegedly trying to smuggle out a woman and a teenaged boy to Toronto, Canada.
Justice HR Malhotra granted bail to Katara on furnishing a personal bond of Rs 25,000.
Katara was held at the Delhi international airport along with a woman, Paramjeet Kaur, and a boy, Amarjeet Singh, who were posing as his wife and son and travelling on the official passports of the MP's wife and son.
