The bikers attacked the judges with bricks and stones. Even after the driver, Chaman Lal, instantly apologised after the car had a minor collision with one of the motorcycles, the assailants broke the windscreen of the car.
"Metropolitan Magistrate Ajay Garg tried to pacify the bikers but they did not heed to his requests. Instead, they attacked Garg and Lal with bricks and stones," said Vinod Sharma, secretary, Saket bar association.
Sharma demanded that efforts should be made to ensure safety and security of the custodians of law. "We request the police to bring the culprits to book at the earliest. Tomorrow (Friday) we will protest in all district courts," he said.
