BJP wants Pak shamed, Cong protests too

The BJP on Wednesday urged the government to name and shame Pakistan by placing all evidence of Tuesday's mutilation of an Indian soldier, coupled with the killing of another, before the international community.

The BJP on Wednesday urged the government to name and shame Pakistan by placing all evidence of Tuesday's mutilation of an Indian soldier, coupled with the killing of another, before the international community.

The government, for its part, said that Pakistan must respect the rules of engagement. "Pakistan must respect the rules of engagement and the ceasefire process..." information and broadcasting minister Manish Tiwari said.

The Congress was harsher, warning Pakistan that India's patience was fast running out. Spokesperson Rashid Alvi said, "Pakistan should realise that we are running out of patience. We have lodged a protest. This protest should be the last one."
